The University logo and identity marks are available for download in color or monochrome on this page or by calling the University Office of Publications.

The University logo is a combination of the words Fairleigh Dickinson University in the traditional serif typeface Adobe® Caslon Pro, along with the University shield, reflecting the University’s historic roots. The original University shield was designed by the late Loyd Haberly, distinguished professor of English.

These identity marks provide attractive elements to use for various promotions and merchandise, from T-shirts to pens and other items. The three-letter FDU marks include a two-color (red and blue) logo with the letters FDU either in red or white reversed out of a red block.

Fairleigh Dickinson University’s identity is represented most prominently by the University logo (above). Proper use of the University identity helps assure a uniform marketing brand.

The University colors for use in the logo, seal and the identity marks using FDU are Pantone 294 and Pantone 201. You may also print them in a solid black.

The Commencement ceremony for graduates of FDU’s New Jersey campuses will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The ceremony begins at 9:30 AM and will be held rain or shine.
