Check out this link from archive.org, it was from the megathread.. Download "Final Fantasy III (USA).zip" from there (US version of FFVI was called FFIII for some reason, and the patch won't work on a non-1.00 version of the game) and then just run the patch on that file.

2021年10月14日 · OG SNES or GBA if you dont want to tinker with roms. I like the Woolsey translation (its not 1:1 but still excellent for its time) but GBA also has moar dungeons. PS1 load times are pain, and the current mobile/android ports are crimes against humanity.

2018年8月24日 · Square Enix recently sent me a cease & desist takedown notice to remove the Final Fantasy ROMs. I still provide the patches, so you would need to patch the ROMs yourself. My site was the only one I knew of that offered pre-patched ROMs with the latest hacks, so I can't offer any recommendations of other places.

2023年8月2日 · The instructions say to use a clean unheadered Final Fantasy III (v1.0) (U) ROM. SNES roms are usually in .sfc or .smc format in a .zip or .7z file. The Megathread, pinned on the frontpage of r/roms, has a large archive of various roms. If you navigate to the Retro section, that is where most of the SNES games are stored.
