2012年12月17日 · The regiment includes two commando units: Mountain Commando Group (Groupement de Commando de Montagne, GCM) and Engineer Combat Divers (PCG, formerly DINOPS). Two GCM groups and a PCG team are assigned to the Surveillance & Direct Action Platoon (SRIO) of the 2e REG.

Since creation in 1999, the 2nd Foreign Engineer Regiment (French: 2e Régiment Etranger de Génie, 2e REG) has been present in the following theatres of exterior operations: Lebanon in Opération Baliste launched by French President Jacques Chirac, during the month of July 2006.

The 1st foreign engineer regiment has a unit called Dinops which are underwater combat divers, in terms of skill they are like the GCP who some consider special forces while others consider them commandos. If you are a member of the 2nd foreign engineer regiment you can attempt GCM training which is a group again like the GCP.

When you say ‘speed, mobility and good camouflage’ that could refer to a lot of units, including commando and reconnaissance troops, it’s a pretty broad umbrella.
