The Engineering Information Center serves the teaching, learning, research and academic communities of the College of Engineering and Computing. As its core mission, EIC is responsible for developing and implementing the College's Information Systems strategy.

Did you know that you could access your engineering applications such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Siemens, and others from any secure Internet connection? If you have never logged into EICAPPS, you will need to install the appropriate client to access your data from the FIU network.

Universities often provide help desk support to their Administration, Faculty and Staff via a toll-free number, website and/or e-mail. EIC provides technical assistance to CEC community members via our ticketing system.

The Engineering Center (EC), headquarters of the College of Engineering and Computing, is a world-class research facility just a two-mile shuttle ride north of FIU’s Modesto A. Maidique Campus. A part of MMC, the 25,000-sqft. center is home to nearly all of our engineering courses.
