Fader is a duo, consisting of Neil Arthur (Blancmange/Near Future) and Benge (Wrangler, Creep Show and John Foxx And The Maths). Quartz is their third album, following 2019’s brilliant In Shadow. Benge also assists Arthur with Blancmange, but what needs to be made clear is that this is not a Blancmange album.

Fade (stylized as fade) was a Japanese-American rock band formed in 1991. Fade released five mini-albums, three full-length studio albums, and two singles. On April 9, 2014, Fade announced an indefinite hiatus, in effect after the completion of their June tour. [1] . They were with Universal Music Japan for their final 12 years. [2]
