Rath is a playable character in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade and father of Sue, a character in the sequel Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. He speaks only when the situation calls for it and is the son of the Silver Wolf, who is the chieftain of the Kutolah, a Sacaean tribe.

Rath is a serious and introverted archer who was banished from the Kutolah tribe due to a prophecy. Rath wandered the Sacaean plains for 15 years, and became emotionless after enduring starvation and ridicule.

Rath: At the time I was less than four, without even the means to survive. I wandered, not knowing right from left, ...The people of other tribes laughed and ridiculed me.

When Rath was only an infant, the diviner of the tribe foresaw an ill omen in his future—a dark flame that threatened to burn everything to ash. Rath was banished from the village, and from then on he traveled alone, looking for a way to avert the catastrophe. Over the course of his travels, Rath grew into a strong young man.

Rath (Japanese: ラス Ruth) is a Sacaen nomad who appears in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. Though he is originally from the Kutolah tribe, he works as a mercenary. In Lyn's tale, Rath first appears when Lyn visits Castle Araphen. Lyn is attacked by assassins who set fire to the castle, but Rath, then the captain of Araphen's castle guard, saves her.

We are given a new unit in this chapter called Rath, he is a strong and fast bow wielder on a horse. He will kill most stuff on his own, but he gains less experience for it. Only use him if you have to. Kill the Mercenaries immdiately east of your position. Visit the northern house to recruit a thief called Matthew.
