It has a spruce plywood top, rosewood plywood back and sides, split fretboard inlays, a fancy engraved pick guard, and a saddle with individually adjustable saddles (for intonation) and the whole assembly is adjustable for height (action).

2016年1月28日 · The inwardly tapering headstock dates it to the early-mid 1970s. Earlier 1960s FG300 have the headstock tapering outwards, the three tuning keys logo on a metal trussrod cover, and 'YAMAHA' on the headstock as seen on today's FG models, and the red label would have had rounded corners. The FG300 was the guitar I lusted after.

I have a FG300 red lable (kinda orange) that my friend gave me that he bought early 70s no pick gaurd (original) plus only #s I can find on inside are on top brace inside #1111726 with the tuning forks in a circle. Also has same circle on head stock to get to truss rod.
