Fofão[pronunciation?] is a fictional character from the Brazilian children's TV series Balão Mágico and TV Fofão. He was portrayed by the Brazilian actor and humorist Orival Pessini. He became a hit amongst Brazilian kids in the early 1980s, having his own TV show, discs, dolls and many licensed products.

Fofão foi um personagem fictício dos extintos programa de televisão infantis brasileiros Balão Mágico e TV Fofão. Era interpretado pelo ator e humorista Orival Pessini (1944-2016) e se tornou bastante popular entre as crianças brasileiras nos anos 1980, chegando a ter seu próprio programa, além de discos, bonecos e diversos produtos licenciados.

Balão Mágico aired on Brazilian television network Rede Globo from 1983–1986. The show's success led to Fofão receiving a solo show after Balão Mágico ended in 1986.
