2003年9月10日 · I have a 90 Ranger with the 2.9 and it's starting to drive me insane. I replaced both valve cover gaskets, (Which isn't to much of a pain) and am still getting "snot" on my oil cap. 2011年12月29日 · I went from 2.79 to 3.00 gears in my 55 sunliner and happy with the results,its a heavy car and with a small block the 2.79s were a little too tall. I had noisy gears and a bad tail shaft bushing in the trans that made a lot of noise and its nice and quiet now,if you have a big block the 2.75 gears should not hurt the performance much.
