The IPR controls the oil bypass circuit of the high pressure pump. 0%=full return to sump (open valve), 100%=full flow to injectors (closed valve). The PCM monitors the system with the ICP input.

2011年2月2日 · Could the IPR cause a stumble like I mentioned ? at 1600 rpms and below, it will hesitate or stumble ever so slightly, but pick back up and run fine. Before changing IPR and CPS,,, it did it a lot more frequently. Now 2-3 times a day, I drive approx 50 miles per day back/forth to work. I had the truck scanend after I changed the IPR and CPS.

2013年4月9日 · Also checked from IPR plug to 12 way plug on driver fender, red wire isolated, both unplugged and got around 5.7 ohms too Then I checked ohms going through the new IPR - 5.8-6 ohms Then plugged in IPR and checked from 12 way plug to PCM plug- 5.8 ohms I think that means there is minimal resistance in the line.
