2023年3月2日 · The dual power on my Ford TW20 started slipping in high even on the road, checked the hyd. fluid and realized it was 6 or 7 gal. low, refilled and was using it only in low I accidentally shifted it into high and it continued to pull, I shifted it back into low and as I was leaving the field I shifted it back into high and it pulled fine.

2020年8月22日 · Hi I was hoping you guys could help me diagnose a hydraulic issue with a ford TW15. Its approx a 1988 model. All the local mechanics are young guys and they haven't worked on Tw's much and apparently they have a different hydraulic system to the other older models. Basically it wont do much with the spools.

2017年4月10日 · Most guys use Universal Tractor Fluid (UTF) for the power steering, transmission, and rear end/hydraulic reservoirs. You can get UTF in 5 gallon buckets at Tractor Supply Stores, auto parts stores, Walmart, etc. Before buying, check the label to see that it meets Ford lubricant spec 134D. Attached a parts diagram of your power steering pump.

2013年3月9日 · I have a 1920 Ford that has been expericening the following problems: 1 While in gear and moving, the unit will pop out of gear. this the forward/reverse shifter. It will go for several days with no problem and the will not be able to keep in. I will not manually hold/force it in gear.

2004年10月30日 · Chuck, I was thinking the clutch pack and Bear pretty much confirmed my suspicions. It would still be wise to troubleshoot according to the maintenance manual and verify before splitting the tractor. My father's old Ford TW20 blew an o-ring in the low range clutch pack and the tractor had to be split to get to it.

2021年4月21日 · And he'll never find parts for the Ford 1720 being readily available any time soon either. For these older Ford compact tractors, the new and used parts supply has dried up very sever since late 2019. My neighbor got a Ford 1500 on a deal. And we had to poke high and low for a few 'normal' parts.
