You can track the status of an inmate in county jail via the Victim Information and Notification Everyday (VINE) website at www.vinelink.com.

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Office of Victim and Survivor Rights and Services will notify registered victims, who have completed a 1707 form, of an offender’s status and assist crime victims by collecting restitution from the offender.

Form 1707 allows you to confidentially provide your contact information to CDCR for purposes of receiving restitution funds. It also allows you to receive notifications regarding release dates and/or parole conditions.
