2020年5月27日 · I've got a couple 036, possibly my favorite saws. 20" bar is the sweet spot for a 036. That will do occasional 30" wood. I start at the top and do a cut down into the far side, then just cut down on near side from top.

2006年4月6日 · The 361 is a fine saw, with better anti-vibe and a more useable powerband than the 036. You can also get full and 3/4 handlebars for it if you're going to be in timber. Some like them, some don't.

2014年4月9日 · I've been thinking that I've overlooked a long-time favorite of mine, the 036 PRO. And considering it could replace all but the 200T, 440, and 441, I'm thinking of selling all but these and my 024 and buying 034 Super and 036 PRO's as my bread and butter saws. Of course, I have to look at their late model variants.

2017年7月22日 · I have had an 036 pro for a few years. Got it from Eddie A. from Stihl in VA Beach; it was gathering dust on his shelf and he didn't know anything about it. Anyway, it has good compression and spark. Have it apart now for a good clean, inspection, and refresh.

2018年4月23日 · My first saw was an 036 Pr0. Awesome saw with excellent power to weight ratio. Looks like it's in fair condition. I'd grab that quick like. BTW Mine needs a new piston and rings. It was seized some time ago. I'm still going to put the money in it and put her back in service.

2017年1月12日 · The 034 Super and 036 have the same P&C. Power wise the 034 Super and 036 are the same (according to my Stihl 034/036 manual) with 4.6 BHP. They are some of the best saws that Stihl ever made. I've read on here that the 034S actually had better port timing (or maybe it was port shapes) than the 036.

2024年10月5日 · My 036 FastTrack turnout is version that has Comand Control (CC) capability. I wired dedicated with 18ga wire power fine, no problems, switch operates well in CC. See photo. The problem is using the manual switch machine.

2017年12月10日 · I bought a 036 for $50 that had been ran with strait gas. After doing some research (before buying the saw), I determined that I could replace the top end and have a nice saw for around ~$200 after parts and purchase price.
