I must admit, I prefer the old style look. This is my assumption too. Longer snout = better breathing and also no underbite.

My frenchtons have medium snouts and breathe great but one snores. I LOVE frenchies for their personalities not for their squished faces. the breeding standards need to be fixed. Id much prefer the one on the right.
