NVIDIA's GM200 GPU uses the Maxwell 2.0 architecture and is made using a 28 nm production process at TSMC. With a die size of 601 mm² and a transistor count of 8,000 million it is a very big chip. GM200 supports DirectX 12 (Feature Level 12_1). For GPU compute applications, OpenCL version 3.0 and CUDA 5.2 can be used.

The Quadro M2000M was a professional mobile graphics chip by NVIDIA, launched on December 3rd, 2015. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the GM107 graphics processor, in its N16P-Q3-A2 variant, the chip supports DirectX 12. The GM107 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 148 mm² and 1,870 million transistors.

It features 96 shading units, 48 texture mapping units, and 16 ROPs. NVIDIA has paired 512 MB GDDR3 memory with the GeForce 9800M GT, which are connected using a 256-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 500 MHz, memory is running at 800 MHz.
