2020年11月4日 · Glock is releasing five handguns chambered for .40 starting with the three main models, the Glock Models 22, 23 and 27. These are the company’s full-size, compact and subcompact pistols. The full-size 22 and compact 23 will both be offered in two packages, the standard Gen5 configuration and the red-dot-ready Modular Optics System, or MOS models.

Every GLOCK Gen5 comes with beavertail backstraps in two sizes. The backstrap frame allows the users to change the circumference of the grip to fit their individual hand size. The Gen4 proven rough textured frame surface is present on the Gen5 frame as well. It was designed to enhance grip traction, without being too aggressive.

2020年10月13日 · The new Gen5 40 caliber pistols include the G22 Gen5, G22 Gen5 MOS, G23 Gen5, G23 Gen5 MOS, and G27 Gen5. The G22 and G23 models are now available with Gen5 technologies including the nDLC finish, a flared mag-well, the enhanced GLOCK Marksman barrel (GMB) for increased accuracy, and an ambidextrous slide stop lever.

This model was designed with handgun hunters in mind thanks to its longer barrel, larger-bore chambering, and optics-ready milled slide — but it isn’t limited to hunting use alone.

2020年7月3日 · Yes, Glock announced that they will be producing Gen 5 pistols in 40 S&W starting in October. However, the announcement indicated that they will be focusing on L.E. contracts first. The details of this are a bit nebulous, probably on purpose.
