2015年12月4日 · Just picked up a couple of 80's vintage guitar combo amps: a Dean Markley RM-80-DR and a Yamaha G50-112. Several of the pots are "scratchy" on both amps. Other than the obvious (remove amp from cabinet) what is the best way to clean the various pots?

2019年8月6日 · Pots were scratchy and needed a little twisting and the reverb jacks needed a couple plug twists, then all was good. I'll hit them with the contact cleaner soon to finish them up. G50-112 III - This Series III 50 watt model uses shared EQ for the A/B 'channels'. Has the Parametric EQ like Series II along with Presence and Pull Mid-boost.

2024年1月24日 · It’s a 1974 G50 that has been converted from 120VAC to be used in the UK, at 240. It seems to have had some work done but has the following issues: A hum, once operated for more than 5 minutes; tremolo and reverb not working. Normal input allows a little play time before the hum but Effects hums immediately.
