2020年1月11日 · Since Genesis recommends 87 octane fuel in my 2019 G80 3.8L, if I were to repeat you experiment in my car, I doubt that I would see any increase using premium fuel. It appears that the very small increase you measured with you car is not worth the typical $0.50/gallon cost increase for premium fuel.

2020年8月26日 · As called for in the owner’s manual I use 87 octane in my 2019 G80 3.8L AWD. Using higher octane fuel will not increase HP in this engine. Also premium grade fuels whether top-tier on not do not contain higher levels of engine cleaning detergents.

2020年2月24日 · By the way, briefly drove a 2020 G80 3.3T Sport and a 2021 G80 3.5T Prestige, but separated by a year, so hard to say. Both cars felt lethargic in normal mode, and the 3.3T didn't have a 'custom' mode, so it was a deal-breaker, since sport suspension is tiring except in the twisties, and when driving aggressively.

2020年8月26日 · I just had my first oil and filter change in my 2019 G80 3.8L by my Genesis dealer and learned that the dealer used non-synthetic 5W-30 oil. My owner’s manual specified synthetic 5W-30 oil per spec ACEA A5 oil.

I had the 2015 G80 V8 and the 2018 G80 Sport (3.3T). Whether you like the V8 or the 3.3 V6 will depend on your driving style/expectation. I don't drive hard and fast a lot. I now have the 2021 G80 (3.5T). I did test drive the 2.5T before making my decision.
