2020年6月26日 · Ok guys! I'm done messing with my G27 but these mods work for G29/G920s as they use the same motors. I'll do my best to break this down so it's easy to digest. I focused on "easy" upgrades to the unit. So something like converting to belt drive was out.

1" outside diameter, .75" inside diameter rubber o-rings like this.You take apart the pedals like you're doing any other spring mod.. and then instead of replacing the spring, you put the o-rings around the cross post on the bottom of the plastic bit, reassemble the spring and pedals and viola, you have more preload on the spring.

2022年8月4日 · I know, I probably could have gotten a better wheel etc with the cost of the mods, but much like my 3D printer, I consider modding this stuff a hobby in and of itself. Current Mods. True Brake - 100% recommend, night and day difference Pedals removed from case and mounted directly to wheel stand, much more erg for 2 foot driving.

2020年12月21日 · The biggest "upgrade" you can make on your G29/G920/G923 after adding the shifter, is modding the pedals. There are tons of options out there, from simple springs replacements to an actual load cell style brake mod.

2020年7月13日 · I have a G920 and have seen some mods you can nake to it to improve it. I already know the one with magnets for the paddles shifts and the inverted pedals, but I know that there are other mods you can do, if anyone know any, please let me know. Just a thing: not gonna make them now, gonna wait until the warranty ends.

2021年1月1日 · I picked up one of the 3D printed shift mods on Amazon and it made it a bit stiffer. It’ll probably easily break though. Changing the shift knob feels better in the hand. Otherwise I’m just dealing with it. One thing that is a great upgrade is the 3DRap magnetic paddle mod. The brake pedal sucks and need to do something with it.

2018年8月28日 · It takes less force to get 100% brake than the stock g920/29 pedals. Real race cars require quite a bit of force and have shorter travel, so the stock rubber block is actually better.

2022年2月9日 · Long story short, 555ph-18150 and M36N-2 motors are a direct replacement for the existing logitech motors. Use a butane torch to easily remove the gear from the old motor and mod the encoder wheel for the new motor and you're done!
