2019年3月27日 · The GB25 is a wonderful little midrange but the two things I enjoyed about running a larger midrange, 4.5" (Scan 12m) was the ability to comfortably cross lower, between 150Hz - 225Hz. That extra 100/200Hz translates into more fullness and warmth up high on the dash, as you mentioned.

2022年1月20日 · I’ve had GB25’s and for their size they are in a league of their own! I’ve recently heard MM3’s and they will play lower and take more power. I thought they sounded excellent! They were paired with the alto which is also on a whole other level. Better than the frogs but they are MASSIVE so keep that in mind and about twice the money too.

2016年3月1日 · All of the Audiofrog mids are designed to be mids. Unlike small "widebanders", the GB25 is designed to be efficient and handle plenty of power. It has a peak at the top of the response which we intend to be eliminated with a low pass filter and a tweeter. With a GB10 it's a great system. Add a GB60 for a killer 3-way.

2015年7月24日 · My 'sheet analysis' concluded these GB25's would have more output based on Sd and linear xmax. So then I was left to wonder how well the frequency response would measure off-axis on these. In regards to FR, I give the nod to the 10f but that's only a slight nod and really isn't a big deal because the polars of both are very good.

2022年8月27日 · 3-way (GB60/GB25/GB10) + Rear Fill (GS62) + GB10D4 subwoofer. IMO&E there's no need to Bridge channels on the A150.D for the GB60. Andy's own amplifier power recommendations for the GB60 on his website are "Recommended Amplifier RMS Power Range: 20 W – 125 W" and I'd would stick to that.

2022年3月10日 · Generally those door grills are much larger than the midbass driver and you could feasibly mount the GB25 to the door card right above the midbass and have a shot out that grill. I'd recommend mounting the GB25 in one of those project boxes that will seal and with proper volume. It won't be too much larger than the driver.

2015年6月23日 · I got a chance to start the install of my new AudioFrog GB10 tweets and GB25 midranges. The tweets are going into PVC cap pods and the mids are replacing my outer-most air vents in my dashboard. Some adjusting, sanding, painting etc yet to be done...but I've got the basics done so far...here is everything test-fit. Pics:

2021年3月27日 · The GB25 also has some really nice installation hardware included and I don’t see this with the RG100. The RG100 also has 59% more cone area than the AF GB25, suggesting that the RG100 is closer to a 3-1/2” wide band driver when the GB25 is 2-1/2.
