I also have a Cimplicity PE HMI communicating with the same controller configured to update every 100mSec. I'd like to configure the GES SRTP OPC server to update every 20mSec. I'm not sure how to configure the driver for optimal performance.

2002年6月21日 · The standard GE Fanuc Ethernet drivers in CIMPLICITY HMI use the application layer protocol SRTP over TCP/IP. If you designate the PLC as an "EGD Producer" instead of a PLC model number (e.g. Series 90-30 CPU), then CIMPLICITY expects to received EGD. The easiest way to obtain data from the PLC CPU is via SRTP.

GE Rx3i has native support for MBTCP and GE SRTP and EGD protocols in its ethernet card (and I have a Profibus master card for it if needed). S7 is provided by OEM and I will not be able to access or modify code therein--memory map is all I have.

2002年6月19日 · GE 90-70 can talk modbus TCP/IP which is widely supported as well as a proprietary protocol I do not know much about. The AB plc talks Ethernet IP which is a protocol developed by AB and only supported by a small number of device manufacturers.
