G.F.L headstamp .223 Brass - Glock Talk
2011年1月31日 · About a year ago, I bought about 500 rounds of Fiocchi (G.F.L. headstamped) .223 ammo and I finally got around to shooting it about a month ago. So, yesterday I tumbled, deprimed and resized some of it. When I went to reprime it, the primers would not seat. So I think that the primer pockets are crimped and I get out the primer pocket tools.
Which brass manufacturers use small pistol primers in .45 ACP?
2010年8月30日 · GFL is the brass used by Fiocchi in their lead free frangible ammo. The rest are probably all from lead free primers as well. For some reason they can't (or won't) make lead free large primers. Now if they would just make SPP 10mm brass...
How to ID .223 and 5.56 Brass Head Stamps | Glock Talk
2013年12月17日 · I just received and I ve starting cleaning 100 pieces of .223 and 5.56 brass. I have not taken a count, but many seem to have crimped primers. I will be better able to make this call after they are cleaned. Some of the cases have .223 stamped, but many others have markings that I am not familiar...
Underwood .38 Spl 150gr Wadcutter in Clear Ballistics Gel
2022年11月23日 · A speed strip is the way to go with any Wadcutter ammunition. And contrary to the test review, I found both the Underwood and Buffalo bore versions of this ammo to be very controllable and has less recoil than standard 158 grain Speer Blazer round nose ammo out of an airweight gun and had not a whole lot more recoil than target wadcutters which only produce about 550 fps out of a short barrel ...
Opinions - Ammo - Federal American Eagle vs Blazer Brass
2016年6月9日 · I would consider the Federal American Eagle a step up in range ammo . I have used both in the past and probably have stashed away, 4K of the Federal and 2k of the Blazer Brass. I have yet to experience any negative issues with either, I have probably put down range 10k of Blazer Brass and 50k of American Eagle Federal in lieu of my reloads.
"A USA" 9mm headstamp - Glock Talk
2015年4月11日 · I have used it in .380. It worked just fine and I would comment that the primer pockets were unusually clean after tumbling. I don't remember the brand, but I know I purchased the ammo in a red box, it was not a household name for …
GFL 10mm Brass Opinions | Glock Talk
2023年4月26日 · I meant to order Starline brass, but ordered some GFL 10mm brass by mistake. I am trying to decide whether to keep it. Midway unfortunately charges a hefty restocking fee. The brass is labeled 1776 from Midway and head stamped GFL. I can't find much information on this brass and don't want to keep it if it is not safe in 10mm.

MagTech Steel Case 9mm | Glock Talk
2025年2月4日 · Brass is better for a variety of reasons. The first to me is the lubricity of the brass vs steel in the magazine. I’ve had steel cased ammo not feed properly in some magazines. I love running Russian steel cased .308. It turns my rifle into a fire breathing monster. It’s hot ammo and always goes bang.
9mm vs 45 ACP Testing In Ballistic Gel - Glock Talk
2025年2月14日 · That's not the whole story. Ammo makers have sought, in the past 15 years or so to normalize performance to get closer to the FBI specs. The 9mm operates about full potential while most of the .4X calibers are not. They leave a lot …
