2021年2月25日 · The J39 class was regarded as powerful, but it was difficult to replace the gudgeon pins and the rolling rings on the vacuum cylinders. Some locomotives were sent to Derby for overhaul where they were not popular and came back with serious faults, especially in the snifting valves which were left disconnected.
