For auction is a rare, late-1940s version of the Secomak GP-3 air raid siren with the art deco "Seco" endcaps. It sounds a haunting minor third dual-tone sound. Electrical requirement is 240V AC or DC and it is wired currently with a U.S. 240VAC 15A plug.

This is a compact version of the Air RaidSirens commonly used during World War 2 and of those subsequently maintained onstandby throughout the Cold War up until about 1992, when the UK national siren system was dismantled, leaving only a few flood warning sirens on the coast.
