2025年3月21日 · Can someone provide the overall length of a GP40PH-2 and the GP40PH-2B? And is there any size difference with 4219 since it was originally 4148, which was just a GP40PH-2? The long hoods on all of NJT's geeps were modified to add the HEP generator. Originally the front ends were flat, they now have a wedge shape to them.

The GP40PH-2B is a 3000 horsepower, diesel-electric locomotive built between 1993 and 1994. They are a variant of the GP40 with various modifications to allow for passenger services. In October 1968, 13 GP40Ps were built for the Central Railroad of New Jersey.
