Dec 24, 2024 · Agis has among his many breeds 15% GSD (okay 3% of that is WSS but close enough - 12% proper GSD) and 8% malamute (with 12% husky). I have to agree with @techinstructor though about the bad rap malamutes are getting here. Let's face it, there are one million stories of unbalanced GSDs doing aggressive things.

I just got tons of replies about bans, cultural differences and temperatures from people who have never been outside the US - but don’t have a problem keeping the dogs in Arizona, Nevada or even worse, Florida.

Feb 12, 2025 · I'm not a big fan of dog shows and didn't watch this but saw news that GSD Mercedes (who came in 2nd last year) won the Herding group and was a finalist again this year. A Giant Schnauzer won it all (first time ever for the breed) and promptly retired.

May 29, 2021 · It is a large undertaking to travel with an adult GSD, and unless I needed the dog for something, I would find an appropriate place to board them. When a dog saves the life of a man, it becomes clear that partnership knows no bounds.

Dec 22, 2024 · our GSD is coming up on 2, and hes such a picky eater. We usually feed him complete GSD kibble from Royal Canin, and i little beef mince as a lil extra. problem is he refuses to eat his kibble unless we melt a smidge of butter over it. We have tried gravy, meat stock, different kibble, even switching to fresh dog food like butternut box.

They are not flopping, but they are not standing either. I hate it, too. I purchased him from a breeder/AKC judge who has some beautiful GSD's,but somewhere in the gene history were soft ears.

Aug 12, 2023 · So my female GSD will be 13 on Friday. A week ago I woke her from a nap to take her on a walk. When she got up she was wobbly in the back end and crossing her back legs when she walked. I kept a close eye on her and cut the walk short but the rest of the evening she moved about the same way. I gave her a Rimadyl thinking it could be arthritis.
