1971 MKIII GT6 (rotoflex) KF1145L. Current owner acquired car as a true Barn Find. Found the GT6 in a barn in Tyler Texas in 2000. The car had been parked for some number of years due to a busted differential. 3 year restoration started in 2001 and finished 2004. Frame was sand blasted, dents pulled out and powder coated.

Jan 8, 2023 · A rise in top speed to 112 mph and a 0-60 blast that dropped below the magic 10.0secs to 9.8 secs. These performance improvements may have been a consequence of improved aerodynamics offered by the new nose. Driving the GT6 today is a step back in time for me as I make myself comfortable in the tiny cabin.
