Preparing for your first track day. Track driving typically involves high speeds, heavy braking, hard cornering and a lot more heat than street driving. Most cars, including the 86/BRZ/FR-S, are not ready to be driven on track when they roll off the factory, so it's a good idea to do some extra preparation before going to your first track day.

2019年4月17日 · Normally, a real track setup is in the -3 to -4 front camber and -2 to -3 rear camber. The tire poking out in the front is fine, not ideal, but miles better than not having enough camber. As a bandaid for your problem, I would use 3mm or 5mm spacers on the front to clear the springs and get as much camber as you can on those bolts.

2020年3月23日 · With the severe torque dip between 3-4.5K rpm there were a couple of corners on track where this coupled with a long 3rd gear ratio was really highlighting the lack of grunt. I debated with sticking with NA and going the route of a remap and headers but really the smart money goes on forced induction.

2021年9月14日 · Track mode allows more slip angle in the Vehicle Dynamics Control before making corrective actions. You can get more sideways than full tc/vdc, but it'll bail you out if you cross the line.

2017年2月22日 · I'm on track this Friday at Oulton. I'm just taking my helmet bag and dancing shoes, no tools as such beyond what I normally carry in the car. Something that is useful, if you expect to do a lot of track miles is a 20litre jerry can, which I will take with me to give me a tank and a half of fuel.
