If I was considering buying an old one at the beginning in order to try out the Garmin experience, I decided to finally go for the entry level watch, the Forerunner 165. I know that there is no cartography on this, but, is there a way to obtain it via the store or something like that?

You can add the map to the data screens loop for an activity. Hold UP. Select Activities & Apps. Select the activity to customize. Select the activity settings. Select Data Screens > Add New > Map.

You can customize how the map appears in the map app and data screens. Hold UP, and select Map. Sets the orientation of the map. The North Up option shows north at the top of the screen. The Track Up option shows your current direction of travel at the top of the screen. Shows or hides saved locations on the map.

To view the course on the map and pan or zoom the map, select Map. To begin the course in reverse, select Do Course in Reverse . To view an elevation plot of the course, select Elevation Plot .
