Gary Burr (born 1952 in Meriden, Connecticut) is an American musician, songwriter, and record producer, primarily in the country music genre. Many of the songs he has written have become Top-10 hits, the first of which was "Love's Been A Little Bit Hard On Me" released by Juice Newton (#7 on Billboard's Hot 100) in 1982.

GARY BURR is one of Nashville’s most accomplished songwriters with 32 top forty hits, 24 top tens, and 14 number-one songs. His new book, "Reunion," will be released on August 1, 2024.

With more than 20 ASCAP Awards, Gary Burr became one of the most successful Nashville songwriters of the 1980s and 1990s. Burr was ASCAP's Country Songwriter of the Year in 1995. He was named Songwriter of the Year by the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) in 1992 and 1994.
