2018年7月10日 · This morning, I calculated the new speeds for each gear using the following calculator: Gear Ratio Speed Calculator Using 22.8" for tire diameter (225/45/R15 Hoosier A7) and 8500 rpm, here are my results of the Kaaz with a final drive ratio of 4.5:1. In addition, I've included stock ratios for comparison.

2015年3月7日 · 2011 Evora NA, 40k miles. Sport/close-ratio gearbox. Never raced. This evening I was on the highway, accelerating from about 50mph. The car was warmed up. I upshifted into 4th and let the clutch out, not accelerating terribly hard. After a moment there was a bang and a whizzy crunch, or possibly a crunchy whizz.

In other words, the larger the wheel, the less revolutions it will make compared to a smaller diameter rim. The effects of this phenomenon are far reaching, impacting many of your vehicle’s operating systems.

2010年8月14日 · A little short short ratio on street, a little bit long on track, nice compromise for me. With the stock gear box, my choice was running with the stock final ratio (4.53), with a special custom made 5 (ratio .970 32/33) and very long ratio on sixth based on stock Toyota box (not Lotus) with a ratio of .725.
