I couldn't finish the Gears 5 campaign because the open world sections were too big and driving around felt more of a chore. I start the campaign again a few days ago and plan on finishing it. Gears of War 6 should take a page out of The Evil Within 2. The open world to linear sections were perfect imo.

My wishlist for Gears 6: Four player co-op campaign. Improve on Gears 5 Horde class system, maybe get rid of them and add skills and passives that you can mix and match? And I'd love if they can actually bring named bosses like RAAM, Skorge and Myrrah like in that Horde event a few ago. Obviously expand their moveset and weapons.

2023年7月7日 · Gears 5 was one of the most impressive and memorable gaming experiences in the whole series and everyone outside of this subreddit speaks about it far more favorably. Also JD will be the canon death, and Del is the main character of the next game completing the trilogy of each member in the new squad being a playable main protagonist.
