2021年1月30日 · So I started reading GGGM over the summer when lockdown first hit and it has literally helped me through it, I'm just in the midst of finishing the second book in the series, Good Girl, Bad Blood. I'm trying to read it as slowly as possible because I don't know what to do with my life when it's over.

2024年6月23日 · GGGM: Born in Modena, Italy, in 1856. She had GGF with an Austrian man in 1879 in Cles, Trento (then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, now Italy). I don't know if they married or if citizenship was passed down from mother to child at the time.

2024年3月6日 · Once for GGGM and then again the same argument for GGM. Now GGM, if she had come over as an adult, you would have a simple slam dunk 1948 case. But she came over as a minor and went through her father’s naturalization, so you have to fight that battle first.

2023年8月15日 · I cannot pin down for sure where my GGGM is from. I always knew where my GGGP was from, as that information was passed down, but not my GGGM. However, I have found some documents which should help, but I cannot makeout some of the writing.

2024年3月4日 · My GGGM has "Mongrassano - Cosenza" as place of birth on her marriage certificate so I looked at the birth books in that municipality for her year and the one before and after. Nothing. There is a name that is extremely similar ( Maria Rosa D'Amico ) but the parents names are different than what she has on the marriage certificate.

2024年2月29日 · My GGGgm was born in the US around 1845, and was adopted in Boston around 1850. I am not sure if her first name, Mary, is actually the name she was born under (even less helpful is the fact that it is very generic).

2024年2月10日 · So, my GGGP and GGGM came to the US in 1907 and my GGM was born in 1908. My GGGF died in 1909. My GGGM remarried a few years later and naturalized in the late 40s after my GGM was an adult.

2024年2月4日 · Trying to get all of my documents together for dual citizenship via paternal GGF. I requested death certificate for my GGM from my local town records. Can anyone make out the last name of my GGGM? First name: Domenica Last name: Gignosi? Also, my GGM birthdate does not match what is on death certificate and is on my GGF naturalization papers.
