Mar 9, 2022 · I don’t think GIQ measures processing speed and the WAIS does. I found out that that was my weakest subtest score and also contributed to bringing my overall score down. The WAIS offers a much richer analysis and interpretation from an actual psychologist to help better understand your performance and observed behaviors on the day of testing ...

May 3, 2021 · If I consider the items and the various cognitive tasks, ICAR 60 is clearly inferior. Perhaps it works decently for the mid-range. The ceiling cannot be higher than 150 sd15 anyways (if we're talking seriously). Scoring 150+ sd15 on GIQ is much more difficult. And the latter reflects broader abilities and a rather wide spectrum.

Nov 11, 2021 · 127 on the GIQ, 123 on an official Wechsler 4 Session. I had some terrible blockade during some parts of the Wechsler thanks to an anxiety disorder, also most online-tests give me a score around 130 a few years later, now as my anxiety got better.

Apr 10, 2022 · GIQ FSIQ was 17 points higher than my WAIS FSIQ. Ravens is only measuring one aspect of cognitive ability (matrix reasoning) so I don’t think it’s inflated, rather, it just simply may be some people’s significant strength and then these more comprehensive tests tap their weaknesses and bring their scores down.
