2011年11月27日 · Glide Pro front mount I decided to replace a new OEM front motor mount with a Glide Pro mount for my 2003 Road King. After reading all of the reviews I was in hopes of reducing the idle and highway vibration in the handle bars and floor boards. I replaced the new OEM mount with FM-1008 Glide Pro front motor mount.

2016年1月2日 · Glide pro goes to great detail about that and the easy way to check is to undo the nut on the bottom of the center bolt and then see if the bolt slides up and down easily in the sleeve. Any binding indicates the mount is not properly centered and will transfer excessive vibration into the frame.

2024年8月4日 · IMO the Glide Pro mounts are pretty soft and dampen vibration well, they just don’t last. Kinetic Structures works well also, for a while. Then you need to keep replacing the woven wire core. The Barry Controls unit is the closest to OEM I’ve found. I think I got caught up in aftermarket hype about ten years ago.

2009年11月14日 · I just install the Glide Pro kit on my 1995 Road King and noticed a big improvement. The Glide Pro kit I installed is the new kit (front motor mount and rear swingarm mounts) with the new rear mounts that replaces the old harley mounts. I never experienced a wobble at speed, it would just feel unsettled in long sweepers in the mountains.

2013年7月29日 · Glide Pro works well and i'd also seriously consider Progressive Monotube cartridges for the forks. The stock wet Showa guts suck in comparison. It tightens up the front end and makes it handle 1000 times better.

2021年2月19日 · True. I might add Glide-Pro recommends loose installing the front mount then starting the motor and running it for a couple of minutes to allow everything to find its’ place, (Alignment) then shutting down and torquing the fasteners in place. Easy on the center bolt.
