Glow is the Scottish Schools National Intranet. It is a major national ICT and telecommunications programme managed by Education Scotland. The project is funded by the Scottish Government [1] and is a collaboration between local authorities, Education Scotland and RM Education.

RM Unify is the platform which powers Glow, the online environment for learning in Scotland designed to provide schools with a set of free tools to support teaching and learning, as well as an App Library of optional educational content to choose from.

You need a username and password to access Glow. If you are a pupil, you will get your account from an adult at your school. If you are a member of staff, you will get your account from someone who has admin rights or from the local authority. Find out how to get a username and password.

How to login to Glow via a computer or laptop. Image 1 Steps Open up an Internet search engine, eg. Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or similar. Please note, Internet Explorer may not work. In the search bar type in ‘glow login’ and push enter.

Login and Authentication into Glow is provided by RM Unify. Once you are logged in to Glow the Glow Launch Pad provides access to all Glow Services. It includes a catalogue of free and paid for resources in an application (App) library and a management console which allows administrative users to manage accounts and passwords.
