Wonder if it was a mix of 8D potentially cancelling their GG (Former HOW's Minyoung is also said to have left 8D) mixed with her realizing the pitfalls of idol life that caused Yujin to go into another field instead of trying at another agency. But luckily for her, she's still young enough to explore so many other options.

Wasn't there a news about Go Yujin debuting this year? So maybe 8D will debut their first idol group this year. They can't really wait for Hyewon for 2.5 years and push back a lot of plans just for her return. Hyewon will be much profitable alone by the time the contract ends.

It may be in Chowon's best interest to go to another company to debut sooner, she is really going to be running up against being "too old" to be a rookie.

2021年5月28日 · Just to clarify - there were many trainees under Polaris/BBC. At some point there were supposedly 50 trainees vying to become LOOΠΔ. Go Yujin was the only one (as far as I’m aware) that we are 100% sure of by name but the other trainees are typically referred to as “the blurred girls” because they do appear in LTV arcs, especially early on.

The "Wonyoung and friends" argument in international spaces needs to cease. Yea, Wony is #1 but Yujin is close and even Rei is #8. Ive's popularity in Korea is just insane.
