2016年10月27日 · My previous Golf was also a 1.4 TSI ACT GT and although I was totally happy with the car when I had it, I would not go back to it now after owning the GTE. After two years of ownership, I still consider the GTE to be the best Golf I have ever owned by a long way !.

2021年3月5日 · My Golf GTE has had: hybrid battery fault (related to 93C9 recall) 12V battery fuse failed; parking brake switch failed (fault code and warning due to faulty LED - no other symptoms) charge port actuator lock failed; charge port door lock failed; a gearbox selector warning (doesn't seem too critical - common issue with this generation of Golf)

2023年7月13日 · I have just had my 2017 Golf GTE Mk7.5 serviced (81000 mile) and have been advised by the (independent) garage to keep an eye on the main battery ie not 12v one fluid/coolant level. They advised I should consider getting rid of the car! Seems a bit drastic to me and wondered if this is an issue others have faced.

Let me start by saying that the car is almost always recharged from a domestic socket and I have rarely carried out strong accelerations in electric mode.

The Golf GTE body is based on the body of the Golf 2013. The floor panel has been adapted to accommodate the repositioned fuel tank and the high-voltage battery. The components that have changed compared with th e Golf 2013 body are coloured in the illustration.
