The McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) T-45 Goshawk is a highly modified version of the British BAE Systems Hawk land-based training jet aircraft. Manufactured by McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) and British Aerospace (now BAE Systems), the T-45 is used by the United States Navy as an aircraft carrier -capable trainer.

The T-45A/C Goshawk is the US Navy's two-seat advanced jet trainer. The aircraft is jointly manufactured by Boeing and B. T-45A Goshawk taking off with landing gear deployed. The T-45C Goshawk aircraft is the key component of the T-45 training system (T45TS), the first totally integrated training system developed for and used by the US Navy.

Compared to other trainer aircraft, the T-45 Goshawk has superior performance and capabilities. Its advanced avionics and navigation systems make it a highly capable trainer, while its pressurized cockpit and on-board oxygen system allow for extended flights at high altitudes.
