2014年3月2日 · Hi guys, I have 2011 i7 mbp 16 gig ram, but every once in a while when I am watching movies or videos using VLC it lags for second and than it show pixelated gray video for 5-6 seconds and it continues normally. This never happened to me on windows computer which is less powerful. What is solution for this problem. P.S. I am running latest VLC.

2015年7月20日 · I've installed VLC 2.2.1-1 (without any codec packs) and it plays just about all video formats flawlessly except .mkv files which will occasionally get choppy/pixelated with a grey screen. Is there a codec pack that I am missing to resolve this? Vlc is self contained and doesn't need any codec packs. What cpu do you have?

2022年5月27日 · I'm watching something that's about 700mb and I can't go ten seconds without VLC freezing for maybe 5-10 seconds, then the screen turns grey and pixelated before playing. Sometimes VLC will freeze up for over a minute when this happens. Tried all of the so-called fixes and nothing worked.
