No, it's gotta be Kensei for a gun kata monk. With the new features in Tasha's you can make THREE Sharpshooter attacks at level 5. At level 6, a Kensei can add more damage to that and their gun shots are magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance. Don't need to disengage when you can straight up kill the enemy right in front of you.

2015年7月26日 · The Smartlink changes wouldn't have any effect on the shooting modifiers. That part seems more fluff than anything, that a typical Smartlink would say "You're holding the gun wrong, pointing very oddly downward, this isn't how you wield a pistol" but the Kata gun knows enough to just shut up when you click out the little spikes.
