2003年5月6日 · Ive got a 88 CRX with the d16 dohc 16v engine and i want to put a h22 engine in to it, is it possible if so what will i need. ive allready got the h22 + ecu + g,box + wiring loom. and all the ancillaries. wud my original g,box fit on to the h22. what do i do bout the drive shafts. :(

2008年5月15日 · waste of time... you will be disapointed with the outcome. h22 in an EF will only go like high 13 low 14s all day. PLUS, it is a major pain in the ass and cost A LOT of money. But hasport has a few kits that you can get the mounts from. get the h-b kit and run a b series trans, basically just RESEARCH. Its out there.-Carl--Carl-

2007年9月7日 · One of the fastest AutoX cars in N. Texas is a H22 CRX. Granted he has a lot of suspension work done, but im just tired of seeing that rumor floating around. Its a FF, even with 50/50 weight distribution, the handling is gonna be jacked. The H22 is not THAT much heavier than the GSR, so im just confused as to where that rumor started.

2003年2月22日 · I have done the tranny swap in my lude. I put an H23 (lude si) tranny into my vtec lude and also put in a JDM H22 at the same time. In a CRX I would recommend using the H23 tranny because with a car that light 1st, 2nd, and most of 3rd with the H22 tranny would be almost useless because you would be spinning the tires through all 3 gears.

2006年8月3日 · The H22 engine and tranny won't fit in the 1g engine bay...period You'd have the cut the unibody from the fireawall forward and make a tube chassis...thats really the only way I see to get one in, and at that point you might as well as do a K swap

If that's what you're going for with the CRX, then go for it, but if you're looking to build it back into a car that can handle well and be comfortably driven on the street than a B-series or K-series is probably a better ...

2008年3月31日 · I got the H22 motor into the CRX... i'm hookin up the hasport axles and i can't get the h22 intermediate shaft i have fit into the 92 prelude si tranny i got, the 91 F22 accord shaft fits perfectly fine. 2004年7月20日 · The f20b is a good motor but I think it is over priced. It is basicaly a downstroked h22 with a little higher compression. I don't think it would be much lighter then an h22 if at all and it has less torque. Also swaping this motor into your crx means you will have to have custom mounts welded into your car's engin bay.
