2001年12月19日 · something of because when vtec comes in the higher airflow the engine is getting it might over speed the turbo and blow it. So my mechanic recommended a Garret TO4E turbocharger. Is this a good size for the h22a. I originally wanted the t3/t4 hybrid turbo, buty he said don't mess with the t3 because the vtec might overspeed it.

2008年12月12日 · hey ive just bought a 92 h22a vetch jap import auto tranny and im thinking about dropping a turbo in it. i found some turbo kits for a bit more than 1000 from fullers custom shop. but it is worth it? i use to work on diesel trucks and i know that with auto trannys you have to upgrade with increase in horsepower. im not sure if ill have to upgrade anything on the prelude considering it all stock.

2002年7月7日 · Also dont forget that with a turbo h23 you will have more lowend torque than an h22, because you will still benefit from an h23's longer stroke. This is an advantage for low-rpm driving when you arent in boost (3-4k) or VTEC (5-6k).

2002年1月28日 · Then the turbo system will be about $4,000 and then they are going to tune it for street driving for me on pump gas and then also have another program tuned for the track! So I don't know how much the dyno tuning is going to be. I will probably be shipping out the motor to them in about 2 months, once I buy the turbo components and all.
