H380 in the 6.5 Cr? - Shooters' Forum
2024年11月17日 · Thinking of trying H380 but haven't found any load data for it. I guess H380 is out of favor with newer powders available, but not much powder available locally, unless I want to pay $90/lb. for a limited availability. Will be used in a Ruger RPR in clay pigeon matches (out to 385 meters). Anyone have data for the 107's? Thanks
H380 For 243 Win?? - Shooters' Forum
2017年2月28日 · Just wondering if anybody has been using H380 for their 243. I've got a bunch of this old powder in my rack, and never have tried it for this cartridge -- or any cartridge. I put a batch of mid-range loads together with Winchester bulk bullets last …
H380 in a dasher - Shooters' Forum
2017年6月9日 · In years past, I tested/tried both H380 and H414 in a couple 6Dasher barrels with 105/108 class bullets. Both produced +3000-fps before pressure and both produced respectable accuracy. My own reasoning for not using either was 3 part that I seen with both: - temperature sensitivity - un-burned powder fouling

22/250 load - Shooters' Forum
2014年1月13日 · IMHO - powders a tad slower than H380, can often provide superbs results in .22-250. WW760 ( H414 same stuff ), VV160; and IMR4350 all grouped well for me when shooting .22-250 's. I am a fan of higher load densities, and the slower powders can sometimes "get you there "; when the " faster stuff " ( H-380 ) cannot.

2020年7月4日 · Probably have about a 3 month wait for that from CLE. My smith had a couple pounds of H380 stashed away so I picked that up yesterday. That's my slowest burning powder since all I've been shooting so far are lighter bullets up to 80 grains. The H380 is right below Leverevolution on the burn charts so hopefully it will work OK for 105-108 grainers.
h-380 or h-414 - Shooters' Forum
2009年12月20日 · WW760 is between H380 and H414 in burn rate. V155 and VV160 also reside in this end/area of the burn chart My sense of it is: Those three powders are too slow for effective use in .223. You'll probably want to go faster w/ your powder burn rate choices, in order to propel your bullets ( esp heavy .224s ) to best velocities. With regards, 357Mag
243 win test loads - where to go from here | Shooters' Forum
2020年7月23日 · If you're committed to H380 powder, I would shoot a couple more 5 shot groups with this load (36.5) to get a better I idea the load's capability. One of the problems with the 243 is if you get into extensive load development trying to squeeze another .1 or .2 reduction is group size by the time you get there the barrel will be shot out at least ...

Reloading guidelines for M1 Garand M2 Ball ammo - Shooters' …
2019年12月29日 · Speer Reloading Manual #13 on page 297 has data for a 168 grain bullet using H380 & IMR 4895. General data suggests a CCI # 34 primer and IMR 4895 powder between 44.0 to 48.0 grains. Rule of thumb: 150 grain bullet - less than 2850 fps 165/168 grain bullet - less than 2750 fps 173/178 grain bullet - less than 2650 fps
