Oct 15, 2020 · Hi all, The Hubbell receptacle appears to be too deep for regular box (which is 2 1/8”j, and I am having trouble finding one that is suitable for mounting on interior wall (with 6 gauge wire running inside conduit). Please help! Thanks!

Jan 18, 2019 · Its design is very similar to their commercial HBL9450A, which is much more expensive. The main difference between the two outlets is that the RR450F was designed for Copper and Aluminum wiring and the HBL9450A is for copper wires only. So the HBL9450A wire clamp is made of copper and the RR450F wire clam is made of aluminum.

Jan 18, 2019 · The original receptacle my contractor installed was a Leviton. I could have just torqued the connections, but decided to replace with a Hubbell. Torquing the connections may not have mattered, since the Leviton 279-S00 has half size steel contacts to the plug blades that cause excess heat.
