2021年1月30日 · According to hdmi.org, eARC is supported by "HDMI High Speed Cables with Ethernet and the new Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable". It makes sense then why my old cable managed just fine. I don't think any TV app currently provides lossless 5.1 / Atmos content (only compressed) as it weighs a lot, so that shouldn't be an issue for years to come.
