2023年5月11日 · A serial number like 11XXX on an HK or EN marked MP5 (with no C or other numbers/hyphen before it) suggests manufacture in the 1970's and that would be confirmed if there are no scope mounts (compare the two photos - the rear scope mount is visible on the MP5-N). An MP5 made in the 1970's would have the SEF trigger group and not an ambidextrous ...

As stated above, I would say that this was an HK 94 that was restamped to "MP5" The barrel may be an original MP5 barrel or an HK 94 barrel cut down and rethreaded to allow a 3 lug adapter to be installed. 4. If the weapon (host) is an HK 94, the serial number (6122) could be used to determine the age of the host.
