The HK 94 is a semi-automatic, rifle-length version of the greatest submachine gun ever made, the MP5. Operating on the same roller-delayed blowback action, the HK 94 is built with a longer 16 inch barrel and has a trigger pack that only allows for semi-auto fire.

Imported for only a few years in the mid-to-late 1980s, the HK94 only differed from the MP5 in that it was only semi-automatic and it had a 16.5” barrel, nearly everything else is shared between the two firearms. The HK94 retains the roller-delayed blowback operating system that has made HK rifles famous for well over 60 years.
