The "HK51B" is a name given to a series of conversions given to HK G3A4, or other carbine-length converted models, into a belt-fed configuration. They are typically only procured in the United States. Despite fitting the HK nomenclature, is not manufactured nor endorsed by HK.

2021年10月22日 · The HK51 is not a gun that was ever actually produced by Heckler & Koch. It is instead a variation on the G3/HK91 originally developed by American H&K specialist Bill Fleming. He was contracted by a UK-based company called FR Ordnance to produce a submachine gun sized version of the G3 for British SAS and SBS use.

2015年9月16日 · Who is still building H&K 51B? We have a customer interested in a short belt feed 308 host. Who should I contact for such a beast? I do not believe anyone has built one in years. Fred Vollmer (sp?) was the only conversion I have seen although I believe that Fleming did list one in their flyer in the early 80s. Red Jacket Firearms?

2016年3月24日 · I am not up to speed on all the variations of the HK families, but having a "K" version of any belt-fed is awesome! But this one has a collapsible stock NO bipod and can be shouldered... whilst standing!

2024年4月14日 · I was out with a buddy today shooting a Vollmer hk51b. We were able to get it to run for short bursts. It seems like it would constantly have issues with the first few rounds of the belt but then run the remaining 12 or 15 just fine. The gun seemed to run better when I lofted the belt and took the weight off.

2024年4月14日 · HK21/21E/MG3/51B all use M13 links when run in 7.62x51 (unless the gun it setup for belts which requires different feed mech parts). FWIW. I've never seen a 51B setup for belts. You can try opening the links a bit, but my guess is that you have a weak recoil spring. 3 weeks later... Matt, quick question.
