Buhl Local - Lease unit HLCX 3835 is the power for the Eastern Idaho RR Buhl local in my hometown. The local runs 5 days a week from Twin Falls, Idaho to Buhl. Railroad

It became IC 9543 and assigned as HLCX 3677, It was sold as GEXR 9543 and renumbered 3835. 9544 was built in March 1971, #36083, FB 5766-5, as GM&O 725. It became ICG 9544 and sold as IAIS 626 in September 1994.

Sold to HELM, became HLCX #2112. Rebuilt by HELM to GP38-3 specifications. Acquired by Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern (10/1996) and renumbered to DME #3835.
